WOLF PACK IS STRONG

Survived another gruelling week of drink dodging... Had the State of Origin on Wednesday night which was tame, well for me anyway. We did lose though and after drinking 80 ice waters i decided it was time to go home. Lucky i did, coz i was home by 10 but my fellow NON PCP comrades made it back around the 3-4 handle i hear. Usually i would look like this by Friday but not THIS Friday BABY!!!

Attended a charity event last night called "Help for Heroes" for wounded soldiers. Quite a grand affair with over 700 people where admittingly I was tempted to have a glass of white wine or two. BUT I was sitting between Andy McNab (British Army's most highly decorated serving soldier) and a chap who runs gruelling  marathons in the Amazon Jungle & deserts all over the world, who sat there telling me that my commitment to PCP is great, they were impressed with the training, diet and dedication I had. Ummmm, didn't really feel like necking the wine after that.!!! To help I had the Wolf pack in the house with brother Marlon and Eddie at the event, so we had each others backs. Also noticed the tux wasn't as snug as it used to be.. think it might be time for a Brown Bond in 73days time.

  1. Great story man, amazing how with the right input from the right people at the right time temptations and the urge to slack get eviscerated! Remember those guys when you're by yourself facing down the next temptation! (And there's always a NEXT one!)
